Spent thousands to get my car fixed and kept telling me they fixed after it got worked on and then a few weeks later was back in for the same problem. Had to finally just get rid of the car, shop just left a bad taste in my mouth!? :/

Unfortunately, I not only did not have a good experience but I had to pay for it, too. My service was in regards to invoice #425611. I brought my car in because the water pump would continuously run even after the car was completely turned off and locked. The parasitic draw from the continuous running of the water pump killed the battery. After recharging the battery, the problem persisted and was easily repeatable. My request was to diagnose the problem. I brought my car in and was asked to leave it overnight, which I did. The next day, I was told that the technician could not replicate the problem. That was very confusing since the issue repeatedly presented itself. I came in to pick up the car. When I took it home, the issue was immediately observed, again! I took the car to a different shop to get a second opinion. They ran diagnostics and immediately spotted the problem, along with testing the battery and noticing that it was being drained by the issue. The local independent shop root-caused the problem to the water pump, replaced the pump, and the issue has since been fully resolved. In the meantime, I am out $214.04 from your shop. Not only that, I noticed later that your shop never applied the 15% Costco membership discount from your service. A miserable experience all around. I did give you a score of 5 for professionalism and friendliness of your staff.

Con artists!! Came in with the issue already diagnosed, was charged $176 to re-diagnose. The issue was covered under warranty, with 15hrs of book-time labor covered ($6K). These con artists tell me they need 25hrs to do the job, and I'll need to pay $3,000 out-of-pocket on top of the warranty coverage!! Talked to 6 (yes, 6!) other mechanic shops, ALL quote the job to cost around $6K (vs Mike Plum's $8,500-9K!), and ALL say they can do the repair in the 15hrs book time. I specifically enquired is there any reason it would take 25hrs, as per this shop, and all said NO. The 6 other shops all say it can be done within the warranty coverage (aside from a few incidentals and tax, totaling a few hundred dollars). Was Mike Plum trying to con me out of $3,000??? Sure seems like it!! Needless to say, I towed my car out of there to a shop that wasn't trying to take me for every penny. Shame on you Mike Plum!

This vehicle came in with an extended warranty. The customer had just purchased the vehicle literally a week or two prior to bringing it to us. The other shop would not work with her extended warranty. Their warranty company required compression tests, boroscope results, et cetera. These services are not free. We spent roughly 4 hours between speaking with their warranty company, providing pictures and diagnostic results and negotiating when their warranty company who wanted to put a used engine in their car. We refused to use a used engine in their car because we want to be able to stand behind our work. When replacing an engine, there are many unknown obstacles that are encountered. When we estimate these, especially with extended warranties, we take all those obstacles into consideration so we can do the best, most reliable job for the vehicle. This is not a "con job". This is how we make sure your car is fixed right the first time. This customer bought this car this way and her anger should be directed toward the place that sold her the car with a bad engine. Not the small business who wants to fix it right. All of this was explained very clearly with multiple phone calls to the customer. We stand behind our estimate. Good luck!

I was very disappointed in the cost the recommend repair. The radiator price I was quoted was for an OEM that is no longer available. I question when you would had discovered the part was not available the repair would had been dropped to reflect the real cost. That should had been known before giving me the quote. Without that cost the labor and coolant was close to double what it should had cost. I was given an estimate how much it would cost for the diagnosis. Your shop took it upon yourself to exceed it. In the end the original diagnostic was honored. I found the employees friendly, and knowledgeable. But ended up questioning your shops ethics.

I paid for them to diagnose my oil leak... They told me it was coming from my timing gaskets & that would cost me 1500-2000! I took it to another shop that was affordable to me 859.00, told them that was what I needed done... Turns out, after getting my gaskets replaced, it was NOT even the problem!!! My problem was a 90.00 fix!!! I gave them 2 stars (generous) because the Woman who swiped my card was The only one who treated me good there!!!
