- Mike's Plum St.

Tldr: Highly recommend these folks. Helped me in a pickle. Real kind, Real professional. After quick tow from Black Lake Towing (recommend if needing a tow btw), the good people of Mike?s Plum St. Mechanic got me all checked in, real quick too. The gentleman at the counter was very helpful & nice. Next day they call me up to tell me the gas tank was empty?*forehead thud* Lesson learned: don?t solely rely on your reported mileage! Anyway, they threw some gas in, brought the car out front, and I was good to go. Thanks y?all ! |

They worked extra hard to get my car fixed and made sure that I got to work while waiting on parts to repair my vehicle I would recommend them to everyone |

I've managed to do all the regular maintenance on our 2015 Outback myself, except for the front differential service. Mike's Plum Street was able to complete this task for me in a very reasonable time period, and at a price that was over half of what the local dealership quoted me! I left there satisfied, and with the feeling I had just done business with an honest shop. |

I brought In a friends car for detailing and Mike?s totally transformed it. It?s now ready to sell and it wouldn?t been possible without an extraordinary detail. Looks like an almost new car |

This was my first time doing car repair at Mike's Plum Street. I was referred to the shop by a friend and I am glad I took his recommendation. The staff was very courteous, approachable and professional. I had the pleasure to deal with Mike and he made me feel at ease although I was in for a major repair which involved tearing down most of engine assembly. He listen to me, offered to check the vehicle and called me promptly to explain the situation. His estimates were considerably less then at the dealership and I agreed to let him repair the car. He gave me detailed estimates and a timeline when he can start and finish the job. And he was right-on for both the estimates and timeline. On top, he test drove the car after repair was done (dealers don't normally do that) and did a courtesy check-up on the car to make sure every is still good after a few hundred miles driven. Kudos to Mike and his crew! |

Mike's Automotive is like working with family. They go out of their way to help with automotive repairs. I towed a friend's car in for major repairs and detailing, and Mike made it effortless. He personally drove the car afterwards to make sure it ran perfectly and it was like getting a new vehicle after detailing. I trust Mike's automotive and that's important. |

Everyone there that I have interacted with has always been very polite and professional. The work is done well, except for occasionally not getting things aesthetically put back on correctly but they have a shuttle service which makes bringing the car in much more convenient than it would otherwise be. When I have had to bring it back in they have been very polite and get it done in a timely manner without charging extra for the mistake like I have experienced at other places. I have been bringing my car to them for years and will continue to do so because they are a very honest company, and the work is done well. My 18 year old car is still running great thanks to them! |

Mike?s Plum Street Automotive is fantastic! I made an appointment with them when a service code came up on my dash that I didn?t have the time, tools or equipment to tackle myself. After their initial evaluation of the problem they quoted me a price in the range I expected, so I gave them the go ahead. 10-15 minutes later they called back and asked if I?d been having trouble with overheating. My Subaru doesn?t have a temp gauge, but the overheating light hadn?t come on, so I told them no. Then they explained they found antifreeze in the oil, so they checked and found the head gasket had an internal leak. The oil looked milky, so we decided to fix everything. It was expensive, but when they were finished the car ran better than it ever has before. They also fixed my power window/lock master switch, which even the dealership couldn?t seem to get right. Now my car runs well and I can roll my windows down like I could when the car was brand new! |
